Infants

An Infant classroom is usually the first step in a child’s Olivia DiMaio journey. Olivia DiMaio infant rooms are designed to provide a comforting atmosphere where an infant can have a home-away-from-home experience. Our infant rooms stimulate a child’s senses by allowing an infant to explore their environment with various learning opportunities that focus on the infants needs and emerging social and communicative skills. We believe that infants are the leaders in their own education. Daily (paper) reports keep parents informed on how their child’s day was, from diaper changes to meals and how well they ate.

Skills that Children Will Learn

While in our infant room, all children will experience a warm and comfortable setting to make your child feel at home. Our curriculum includes open-ended activities that help stimulate developing social skills.

Here at Olivia DiMaio, we believe that the children are co-leaders in their learning. Independence is a vital root skill that we help foster in our infant room. From feeding to playing, our infants are encouraged to verge out independently with our teachers behind them every step of the way.

Through open ended activities, sensory experiences and music, our infants develop communicative skills as they grow. Whether its playing, out for walks & enjoying nature, sharing meals together, or simply enjoying each other’s company, our infants are always engaged in communication.
